Evil Steve here. Great episode! I love the discussion of David Lynch. A lot of what you were talking about made me think of John Keats, and his concept of what he called 'negative capability', which is the ability to appreciate the beauty of something without actually understanding it. On another note, have either of you seen a film called the Colour of Pomegranates? I think you would both find it very interesting.
